Classes

We invite participants to join us in the kitchen for hands-on cookery workshops. Our trainee cooks get the chance to take part in preparing, cooking and eating a variety of meals. All cooking equipment and food is provided. Participants will have fun, be creative and learn about a different cooking methods. All our programmes are completely free and outside of normal school/working hours!

Coooking With Kids Programme
 

The programme aims to provide children (7-11 y/o) with the necessary cooking skills to choose, cook and eat nutritious food on their own. Each session will be held on a weekly basis over 6 weeks. 

Past Programmes

The Mini Cooking Club has previously run the Nutrition During Pregnancy Programme, aimed at expectant mothers living in East Dulwich, Southwark, Lambeth and Wandsworth.

 

 

We have also run a Food for Champions cooking course aimed at children aged 5-11, in partnership with Enterprise Unlimited. Held at Lansdowne Youth Centre, these workshops aimed to improve cooking skills in the area of Southwark and Lambeth.


Our cooking with disabilities workshop, run in partnership with Mencap, introduced children with mental health disabilities to basic cooking skills and kitchen hygiene. This course was run in Wimbledon.

 

We also have experience running nutrition and baking workshops for families in the area of Southwark and Lambeth.
